DREAM & DESIGN Class Overview

Below is an overview of a typical 1hr class curriculum. Classes can be for one session or up to eight weeks. All students are encouraged to bring their own dolls to class. Dolls will be supplied if forgotten. All craft materials and dream journals will be supplied as part of the fee. The curriculum can be adapted based on age or time preferences.

OPEN PLAY
Each week 15 thematic playset scenes are brought to the location for guided open play to encourage and inspire students to use their imagination, social skills, and language skills. Scenes include familiar locations such as school, doctor's office, coffee shop, restaurant, library, and beach as well as aspirational scenes such as NASA lab. Approx. 20 mins.

THEMED CRAFT

Each week students will work on a creative design craft including decorating a doll dress, creating doll clothes out of gloves and socks, making doll accessories out of household items, and ending with a fashion show. See class projects. Approx. 20 mins.

DREAM JOURNAL DRAWING

Each week students will be asked to reflect on their dreams and draw in their dream journal. Prompts will ask students things like what is your dream vacation, your dream job, your dream house, encouraging students to think big and dream big. Approx. 20 mins.

The health and safety of your students are our number one priority. Please review our Covid Policy and Procedures.
